Both parties must appear at the local town office to apply and sign for the license. If you want to take the license with you same day, please allow one hour for processing. Applicants 18 years of age or over do not need parental consent to marry. Residency not required. You are required to have your birth certificates and a valid passport, if not a U.S. citizen. You need your driver's license and you need to know your mother's maiden name and your place of birth. Blood test are NO LONGER REQUIRED. All ordained or licensed clergymen may perform marriages. Contact your local town clerk for hours. License is valid for 65 days.
