Marriage License

Both parties must appear at the local town office to apply and sign for the license. If you want to take the license with you same day, please allow one hour for processing. Applicants 18 years of age or over do not need parental consent to marry. Residency not required. You are required to have your birth certificates and a valid passport, if not a U.S. citizen. You need your driver’s license and you need to know your mother’s maiden name and your place of birth. Blood test are NO LONGER REQUIRED. All ordained or licensed clergymen may perform marriages. Contact your local town clerk for hours. License is valid for 65 days.

Passports are now required for travel outside the US including Mexico and many Islands that did not require passports last year. Be prepared and plan for passports at least 3 months in advance for your honeymoon. Go to http://travel.state.gov for forms and other information or call 1-877-4USAPPT

For receptions from 50-500, a cocktail hour in the garden room with a pianist or a rehearsal dinner with swimming afterwards to relax, we can arrange the picture perfect wedding with every ammenity to please all your guests. Best of all, the bridal couple can retire to their rooms after the reception.
